Don’t miss us on Church Street in Burlington tomorrow, April 23, for the first-ever Church Street on the Marketplace! We’ll be joined by our partners, Vermont Conservation Voters, and many other nonprofits, businesses, and Vermonters celebrating the only planet we have.

We’ll have free seed packets from our partners at the Wild & Scenic Film Festival (get your tickets here if you haven’t yet), and opportunities to contact your legislators to support a much-needed Clean Heat Standard for Vermont.

We’ll also be celebrating the recent signing into law of the first-in-the-nation Medical Monitoring law to hold polluters accountable for covering the costs the frequent medical tests needed to monitor how the toxins are impacting their health. The law is a win for justice. It holds polluters accountable and places the burden of cost on the polluters rather than the victims of the pollution or the taxpayers.
