Make a Gift in Someone’s Honor

Make a gift to honor a wedding, graduation, or other special occasion. We’ll send your recipient a card to notify them that a donation has been made on their behalf, and you will receive an acknowledgment as well.

Or, donate in memoriam of someone who has passed away, to honor the legacy of a friend or loved one who cared as deeply about Vermont’s environment as you do.

Gifts of Stock

VNRC encourages gifts of stock and other securities that may provide you favorable tax benefits. Our endowment and reserve funds are held in fossil fuel-free investments. You will need to notify your broker in writing that you are making a charitable gift to VNRC. To transfer stock directly to VNRC’s account, your broker will need the following information about VNRC’s brokerage firm:

It is important to notify VNRC of your stock gift, as your name may not be included in the transfer. We will need to know the name of the stock and the number of shares. Please contact Stephanie Mueller with this information at smueller@vnrc.org or at 802-223-2328, x113.

Planned giving is a wonderful way to help ensure VNRC’s long-term success in working to preserve and protect our state’s waters, forests, and communities.
