Click here to view the recording.

Join us for a webinar on Wednesday, May 26 at noon about understanding and communicating about climate science, with climate scientists at the forefront of this work in our state. VNRC is among a coalition of organizations coordinating this exciting program. Register here.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear Vermont State Climatologist and University of Vermont Professor Dr. Lesley-Ann Dupigny-Giroux outline the latest climate science and what that means for Vermont and Vermonters. We’ll also hear from Dr. Janel Hanrahan, an Atmospheric Sciences Professor at Northern Vermont University, about building climate change literacy through effective communication.

As the work of the Vermont Climate Council ramps up, the Comprehensive Energy Plan update gets underway, and significant federal stimulus dollars begin to flow to Vermont communities, understanding the latest climate science is critical. Please join us to learn from two of the leading experts in their field.

This conversation will be moderated by Lauren Hierl, Executive Director of Vermont Conservation Voters.
