Join the Association of Vermont Conservation Commissions for their 2023 Virtual Summit!

Join the Association of Vermont Conservation Commissions (AVCC) next Thursday, October 19th, from 12-1pm, for their 2023 annual summit, virtually. Hear directly from members of Conservation Commissions around the state that have had their work supported through an AVCC Tiny Grant award in the past. They will share a bit about their projects’ successes, challenges, and lessons learned along the way. There will also be a brief overview of the recently passed 30×30 law in Vermont, to help prime a conversation about how Conservation Commissions can stay engaged in the work ahead to conserve 30% of Vermont’s land by 2030, and 50% by 2050. There will then be time for a Q&A, so come prepared to ask questions and learn how your Conservation Commission may be able to take on similar projects in your own community! Register to join here.
