Stay informed, connected, and engaged—three things.

There’s still time to apply for our 2025 legislative internship! Help track forward-looking environmental legislation moving through the State House during the 2025 legislative session.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in state-level policies and policy-making, strong oral and written communication skills, and be diplomatic, curious, and able to take initiative. Compensation is $17.50 per hour. The internship starts on January 6, 2025 and ends in mid-May.

The Vermont Climate Council is updating the state’s Climate Action Plan and wants your input. The Council’s subcommittees are holding a series of virtual public meetings to get input on their initial ideas for the update. The Cross-Sector Mitigation Subcommittee will host a meeting at 12:30 pm today (10/24), focusing on tactics to reduce climate pollution from the buildings and thermal (heating/cooling) sector. People, organizations, and businesses who are involved in or impacted by thermal-sector climate action are invited to share their perspectives, concerns, stories, and knowledge with the Subcommittee.

Do you have something to say but can’t make today’s meeting? Reach out through any of the methods below and your thoughts will be shared with the subcommittee at their next regularly scheduled meeting.
