On Thanksgiving Day many Vermonters spend time with friends and family and enjoy the unique charms that late Autumn offers those of us fortunate enough to live here.
My wife Valerie and I take a long walk in the woods, noting the changes from year to year and enjoying the late November quiet. Perhaps, like us, wood heats your home and you are able to share food from a Vermont farmer, directly benefiting from our working landscape.
At VNRC we are thankful for the many organizations and individuals who work hard to protect and maintain Vermont’s healthy forests, clean water, and working lands.
Thank you for your work and support. I hope you are able to take time this weekend to notice the natural resources of our truly remarkable state.
Best Regards,
Brian Shupe, Executive Director
