In this week’s Climate Dispatch, we celebrate the passage of the Vermont Global Warming Solutions Act into law! With the override of Governor Scott’s veto, this legislation will lay the foundation for climate action in Vermont going forward.
Rep. Sarah Copeland Hanzas (co-chair of the Climate Solutions Caucus) joins us to talk about the passage of the bill, and look forward to doing the work to create a plan to reduce emissions, create good paying green jobs, and make Vermont a more resilient, equitable state.
