Brian Shupe: Exit 4 Project Should be Denied

In a recently-published op-ed that appeared in the Rutland Herald and Barre- Montpelier Times Argus, VNRC’s executive director Brian Shupe argues that a proposed sprawling development at the Exit 4 Interstate-89 interchange should be denied.

“In this case, the impact on some of Vermont’s best farmland — land that is in high demand for farming in Randolph — and the negative impact on downtown Randolph are too great,” he writes in part.
