Vermont Brewshed Alliance

In November 2019, the Vermont Natural Resources Council launched the Vermont Brewshed® Alliance (the “Brewshed”) with craft breweries across the state. The Brewshed is a partnership between breweries, pubs, and VNRC to engage our members and their patrons in protecting the clean water we all depend on. The initiative highlights the importance of clean water in Vermont, both for a healthy environment and for making high-quality beer. 

Clean water is integral to the health of people, animals, farms, and forests, and is also the prime ingredient in great-tasting beer and ginger beer. The Brewshed engages many partners in the vital work of protecting our state’s waters where many people enjoy it most – in a pint!
