Mark your calendars for Transit Equity Day on Tuesday, February 4th at noon!
We’ll be joining partners from the Sierra Club and 350 Vermont on Rosa Parks’s birthday to bring together voices from Green Mountain Transit, the Vermont Center for Independent Living, and those impacted by lack of transit.
The event will focus on enhancing accessibility and affordability for transportation in Vermont. Programming will begin at noon, featuring testimonies from individuals across the state who encounter challenges with our current transportation system. These speakers will share their insights and propose solutions to make travel more inclusive and equitable.
