Flood Resilience Forum at the Barre Old Labor Hall

We’re hosting a Flood Resilience Forum at the Barre Old Labor Hall on Thursday, September 26th from 5:30-7:00pm. Bring your thoughts, stories, and ideas for a roundtable discussion with experts and community members. We’ll be gathering local input and sharing perspectives on how Barre and other communities can better prepare for future floods. Panelists will include VNRC Restoration Ecologist Karina Dailey, Barre City Councilor Amanda Gustin, DEC Floodplain Manager Ned Swanberg, and Friends of the Winooski Executive Director Michele Braun. This event is free to the public, no registration required. We’ll provide light refreshments during a social hour before the panel discussion.
