In case you missed it, members of the Act on Climate Vermont coalition, including Vermont Conservation Voters, VPIRG, Conservation Law Foundation, the Vermont Chapter of the Sierra Club, and the Vermont Community Geothermal Alliance, together shared an overview of upcoming legislative priorities for climate and clean energy in Vermont. Priorities include: 

  • S.5, An Affordable Heat Act for the thermal heating sector
  • Renewable Energy Standard modernization for the electricity sector
  • Transportation transformation
  • Ratepayer protection & thermal energy networks
