Two things: Not only does today mark the first “Two Things” of the new year, but the first official day of a new legislative session. We’re looking forward to working with our colleagues and partners to push for strong environmental and climate action in 2023. Also, we’ve updated our logo, in honor of our 60th anniversary.

New Year, New Legislative Session, New Logo

This year marks the 60th anniversary of VNRC, a milestone event—60 years of protecting, restoring, and advocating for Vermont’s natural resources and communities. It has been an honor to advocate for and work with thousands of Vermonters to champion all that we love about our beautiful state. With that in mind, we have updated our logo, inspired by the beautiful topography and foliage of Vermont, with a nod toward forward movement. (Many thanks to the team at Place Creative who helped us with the design.)

Here’s to a new year, a new start to another legislative biennium, and a renewed commitment to our work. And, here’s to change—with a strong foundation upon which to build. We look forward to deepening our work this year, and letting you know all about it.
