Lawson’s Finest Liquids’ Sunshine Fund to benefit Vermont Natural Resources Council, Nov. 1-15
October 30, 2019 (Montpelier, VT) – Lawson’s Finest Liquids pays its staff living wages and generous benefits. In lieu of tips at its Waitsfield taproom, Lawson’s Finest invites guests to support the Sunshine Fund to benefit local nonprofits that help the people and environment of the Mad River Valley and Washington county.
Between November 1 and 15, all Sunshine Fund donations will go to the Vermont Natural Resources Council (VNRC), which has been protecting Vermont’s environment and communities since 1963, to benefit the organization’s clean water work.
“It’s an honor to help support VNRC, an organization that defends the clean water our brewery and larger community depends on,” said Karen Lawson, Co-Owner and Chief Creative Officer at Lawson’s Finest.
On November 13, from 5-7pm, VNRC welcomes members, friends, and the general public to join VNRC staff at Lawson’s Finest for a very special announcement about clean water efforts as they relate to Vermont’s brewery community.
“We appreciate the generosity of Karen and Sean Lawson, the team at Lawson’s Finest, and the beer lovers who choose to give to VNRC between November 1-15,” said Brian Shupe, Executive Director at VNRC. “Their support will help us ensure that Vermont’s lakes, streams, rivers, wetlands, groundwater, and drinking water are clean and safe for future generations — and for brewing great beer.”
