Statement from VNRC Executive Director Brian Shupe on Appointment of Diane Snelling to Chair Natural Resources Board

Montpelier, VT – “VNRC is pleased that Diane Snelling will keep her position as Chair of the Natural Resources Board. Over the years Diane has demonstrated a strong commitment to the integrity of Act 250.  We are hopeful that her appointment is an indication that Act 250 will continue to be administered in a fair and thoughtful manner under a Scott administration. We look forward to working with Diane on the important work of maintaining Vermont’s environmental standards and protecting the viability of our downtowns and villages.”
