On September 23, VNRC held our 58th Annual Meeting virtually for the second straight year. Though we wish we could have hosted you all in person, we were pleased to see so many of our supporters and friends join us on Zoom to discuss the year that was and the road ahead for Vermont. We were also honored to present Nancy Patch, Franklin-Grand Isle County Forester with the Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation, with the 2021 Arthur Gibb Award for Individual Leadership.
Changes to the Board
We elected new members to the Board of Directors: Steph Baer (Burlington), Megan Camp (Shelburne), Elizabeth Gibson (Pawlet) and Peter Sterling (Montpelier). Learn more about them here. We also bid a fond farewell to Elizabeth Courtney, Amy Seidl and outgoing Chair, Kelly Coleman, all of whom termed off the Board after many years of dedicated service to the organization.
Raffle and Trivia Winners
Congratulations to our raffle winner, Timothy Stout of Burlington, who took home a handcrafted cherry wood cutting board made by Vermont artisan Jerome Milks. Additional kudos to the guests who correctly answered our Vermont trivia questions and won free pint coupons courtesy of Ben & Jerry’s. Thanks to our sponsors for donating these items and to everyone who donated to VNRC. Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated!
