Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Michael Snyder recently released a new report to the legislature that highlights the troubling fragmentation of Vermont’s forests and makes recommendations for how to protect their integrity.  Also recently, sixty diverse organizations and individuals representing conservation, forestry, and recreation interests delivered a sign-on letter to lawmakers in support of Vermont’s forests.
