Update, August 14: Sign-up to view the film is now CLOSED. However, we encourage you to join our panel about PFAS contamination in VT and what you can do. Find details below and in the meantime, view the Dark Waters trailer here!

Our partner organization Vermont Conservation Voters is excited to offer a FREE screening of the feature film Dark Waters, thanks to Safer States and Sierra Club, working in partnership with Participant Media, and Conservation Law Foundation, Sierra Club – Vermont Chapter, Community Action Works, and VPIRG.

Dark Waters tells the true story of a tenacious attorney (Mark Ruffalo) who uncovers a dark secret about one of the world’s largest corporations knowingly dumping toxic PFAS chemicals into water supplies across the nation.

To view the film, please sign up using this form by Friday, August 14: https://bit.ly/30HOZdf. You will then be sent a link and instructions for accessing the film at your convenience through August 18.

The virtual screening will be followed by a panel on Tuesday, August 18th at 6pm about PFAS issues in Vermont. Stay tuned for updates on who will be participating in this timely discussion about a serious issue affecting our communities, including where critical VT legislation on toxic chemicals currently stands.
