Transportation Board Holds Public Hearings

The Vermont Transportation Board is holding a series of public hearings throughout the state for citizens who would like to weigh in on the future of public transportation in Vermont. This is a great opportunity to speak up for Complete Streets and for better integration of transportation and land use policies. View a fact sheet prepared by AARP for more information. Following are dates and locations for hearings:
Nov. 9, 6:30 – Chester Town Hall

Nov. 10, 7 p.m. – Brighton Town Office (Island Pond)

Nov. 15, 6 p.m. – Brandon Firehouse

Nov. 16. 7 p.m. – Randolph, 1 L. ST (Depot Square/AMTRAK station)

Nov. 18, 7 p.m. – South Burlington Police Department, public meeting room

Nov. 30, 6:30 p.m. – Wolcott Town office

Dec. 1, 6:30 p.m.- Dorset Town Hall
