NEA Announces New Grant Opportunities for Communities

The National Endowment for the Arts has released funding guidelines for two grant programs. There have been updates made to the Art Works program, as well as the creation of the Our Town program. Our Town grants range from $25,000 to $250,000, and are intended to support creative placemaking projects in communities. The grants will be awarded to innovative projects that forge connections between communities and their local artists and arts organizations in order to increase livability, promote sustainability, foster community identity and a sense of place, and revitalize local economies. Statements of interest are due March 1, and April 25 is the formal application deadline. There will be a series of webinars on the new guidelines for these grants.
