Long Range Planning Commission in Burlington
The Burlington City Council passed a resolution asking the Planning Commission to develop a scope of work for a downtown Burlington plan. As a result, several meetings will be offered for city councilors and the public to provide input. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 21, from 4:30 – 6:30 on the second floor of the Firehouse gallery on Church Street.
The upcoming meeting will focus on input regarding what issues a downtown plan should focus on; what studies or research might be useful for better understanding the issues; and what public particiaption opportunities should be built into the process of developing the downtown plan.
