Keeping Forests for the Future: Planning a Legacy for Your Woodland
On April 30, VNRC and others will host a Landowner Summit to discuss the important issue of keeping Vermont’s forests a part of the state’s landscape for future generations. The day will feature sessions to help landowners and resource professionals understand options for long-term planning and forest management, as well as information for landowners who do not have heirs and would like to learn more about property conservation. The summit will take place at the Lake Morey Inn in Fairlee from 8:15am-5:00pm. There is a $30 admittance fee, but there are options for families who are able to bring multiple generations of interested parties. For more information or to register, please visit VNRC’s website.
