ACTION: LaPlatte Wetland – Public Meeting

The LaPlatte River Marsh Wetland is one of Vermont’s highest quality wetlands and deserves the highest level of protection under Vermont law. That’s why VNRC is advocating for the wetland to be reclassified from Class II to Class I to ensure no development could take place within the wetland’s boundaries. Paddle protest on the Winooski for clean water

We’ve taken to the streets – now we’re taking to the streams!  Join Lake Champlain International, Vermont Natural Resources Council (VNRC) and the Sierra Club – Vermont Chapter directly on the water for a paddle protest of ongoing water pollution.
