Brattleboro: Pollution Pricing & Electrification – 2018 Legislative Preview

January 3, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

(POSTPONED due to inclement weather; stay tuned for new date/venue information!)

The 2018 legislative session is right around the corner, and building momentum for action begins now! Join Energy Independent Vermont, 350Brattleboro and MotherUp! Brattleboro to learn more about the ESSEX Plan, as well as build your toolkit to be an effective citizen advocate for bold climate action and leadership in the upcoming legislative session and beyond.

Business and community leaders recently launched the ESSEX Plan, a new carbon pricing proposal that would deliver Vermonters the cleanest electricity at the lowest rates in the region. We’re really excited about this Vermont-specific, future-oriented economic development plan (and hey–it’s also effective in cutting carbon pollution!), and hope you’ll join us to learn more about the plan and ways to plug-in to the campaign.
