Arthur Gibb Award 2012 Call for Nominations – Deadline Extended to April 23

VNRC is accepting nominations for the 2012 Arthur Gibb Award for Individual Leadership – an award recognizing Vermont’s land use leaders. In honor of Arthur Gibb – who dedicated much of his life to public service to ensure that Vermont is a better place for future generations – this award celebrates an individual whose leadership has brought about a positive and lasting change in the way his or her community or the state integrates growth and conservation.

All nominees will be considered for the award based one exemplary qualities of Arthur Gibb:

  • Leadership
  • Vision
  • Humility
  • Committment to Public Service
  • Creativity
  • Balance and
  • Integrity

Smart Growth Vermont founded the Arthur Gibb Award in 2006, and merged with VNRC in July of 2011. VNRC is committed to continuing the important work of Smart Growth Vermont, including the tradition of celebrating Vermont’s land use leaders.
